Creating an efficient and economical investment structure to invest in projects is important. That is why Empress Capital has created a “Segregated Portfolio Company (SPC)” called GlobalCapital Investment SPC in the Cayman Islands.

A “segregated portfolio company” is a company that may create one or more segregated portfolios. A segregated portfolio is a portfolio containing assets and liabilities that are legally separated from the assets and liabilities of the company general account and from other segregated portfolios within the company. This flexible structure allows us to create an individual segregated portfolio for each particular realty investment project.

The “segregated portfolio company” accomplishes the same objectives much more efficiently and economically, whereby each real property asset would be owned by a separate segregated portfolio. This also gives investors the choice to invest in different real property investment projects that fit their respective risk-return profile.
